The CAP is a structured psychoeducational early intervention program. Psychoeducational means the claimant becomes the active agent in their own emotional recovery. They learn why their nervous system is responding the way it is. They leave with specific tools to manage that response. They apply those tools independently. The practitioner facilitates — but the claimant does the work. That's what makes The CAP distinct from every other service in the accident benefits ecosystem. Not counselling. Not physiotherapy. Not treatment. Early emotional intervention — activated within one business day, with no treatment plan obligation, no clinical dependency, and no administrative burden on your team beyond the initial referral. The CAP activates fast, closes cleanly, and leaves the claimant better equipped for their own emotional recovery than it found them.

WHY TIMING MATTERS

The research on post-collision recovery is consistent: the first 72 hours after an MVA are the window when the nervous system is most responsive to support. Threat appraisals are still forming. Avoidance patterns — avoiding driving, social situations, or normal activity — are not yet entrenched. Early psychoeducation delivered inside that window changes the recovery trajectory in ways that intervention weeks later cannot replicate. The CAP is designed specifically for that window. HOW IT WORKS

Step One — Referral

The adjuster submits a referral through a simple online form in less than two minutes. No clinical triage required. No forms for the claimant to complete before activation. Practitioner-developed language guides are provided to help adjusters introduce the program with confidence.

Step Two — Activation

Within one business day the claimant receives a personalized welcome, a practitioner assignment, and a curated resource package matched to their specific presentation.

Step Three — Platform Access

The claimant is activated on The CAP app — available on iOS and Android — giving them immediate access to MVA-specific content modules covering emotional recovery, return to driving, physical recovery, and family support. Claimants also access a broader library of evidence-based wellness content including stress management, resilience, motivation, and sleep support. The platform is personalized to each claimant by name on activation.

Step Four — Practitioner Support

An experienced CAP practitioner connects with the claimant for up to two structured psychoeducational telephone sessions. Goal-directed, science-based, and time-bounded — focused on ensuring the claimant has what they need to continue their own recovery with confidence
